Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Maryland
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience working in a school setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of IEP processes and goal development
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, addressing a variety of needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, assisting in goal setting and progress monitoring
- Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving with teaching teams and caregivers
- Support positive student outcomes through data-driven interventions and therapeutic strategies
