Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Maryland, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous experience working in school settings or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric OT intervention techniques and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads, ranging from kindergarten through high school
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to support student success in academic environments
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progress
- Contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by providing relevant assessment findings and recommendations
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school, district, and legal requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
