Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for the state
  • Experience working in a school setting, especially across varied age groups
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for children and adolescents
  • Ability to contribute effectively at IEP meetings and collaborate with parents, teachers, and other service providers
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable providing both direct and indirect therapy services
  • Preferred experience with both onsite and virtual service delivery
  • Flexibility and professionalism in adapting to changing caseload needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for students with diverse needs, ranging from preschoolers to high school seniors
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions, as well as consultative and indirect support
  • Collaborate and communicate progress and strategies with teachers, staff, and families
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Keep thorough records and report on student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Remain up-to-date with current best practices and compliance standards in school-based therapy
