Occupational Therapist School Setting in Vacaville, CA

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ growth and development as a school-based Occupational Therapist! This full-time contract position begins August 11th and runs through June 10th, with the option to continue into the 2025-2026 academic year. You will serve a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, providing both direct therapy and consultative services to general education and mild to moderate needs individuals near Vacaville, CA.

What we’re looking for:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain CA licensure)
• Recent experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with delivering services to general education and mild/moderate students
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and document progress
• Commitment to supporting inclusive educational goals for all learners

In this essential role, you will:

• Deliver occupational therapy services through both direct interventions and consultative models
• Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Assess students’ needs, develop IEP goals, and track measurable progress
• Provide strategies, adaptation recommendations, and resources to staff and caregivers
• Foster a supportive, positive environment for students to achieve greater independence
• Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as needed
