Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure to practice in California
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassionate, flexible approach to working with children and adolescents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional skills and challenges within the educational environment
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation, providing clear input to support student goals
  • Deliver direct OT services and consultative support to teachers and staff
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Maintain detailed, timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
