Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure to practice in California
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, flexible approach to working with children and adolescents
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional skills and challenges within the educational environment
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation, providing clear input to support student goals
- Deliver direct OT services and consultative support to teachers and staff
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain detailed, timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
