Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• California licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Prior experience within school settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Passion for promoting independence and skill-building among students
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and dedicated to supporting a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement strategies for student success
• Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop intervention plans tailored to individual needs
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student support planning
• Offer guidance and resources to teachers and support staff regarding accommodations and classroom strategies
