Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to a collaborative multidisciplinary team, where you’ll support the development of students’ functional, adaptive, and academic skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid California Occupational Therapy license and registration required
Previous school-based OT experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations
Working knowledge of IEP processes and special education documentation
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative OT services to students according to IEP goals
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to integrate strategies into classrooms
Document student progress, maintain timely records, and participate in IEP meetings
Educate families and staff on best practices for student success

- Guaranteed Hours
- Direct & Indirect Services Pay
- No additional district responsibilities outside of contracted hours (bus duty, parent pickup, etc.)
- Travel therapists eligible for stipends
