Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Knowledge of school-based therapy documentation, IEPs, and related services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, organized, and adaptable to varied student needs
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for OT services
• Create, maintain, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ academic and functional success
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within school settings
• Participate in IEP meetings, delivering professional recommendations and input
• Maintain thorough records in compliance with district and federal guidelines
• Educate staff and families on strategies to integrate therapy into the classroom and at home
