School Occupational Therapist - Vail, Arizona

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure
• Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary and K-8 populations
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and families
• Compassion and adaptability in meeting students’ diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop and deliver individualized intervention plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups
• Consult with educators on classroom strategies and modifications
• Monitor and document students’ progress, contributing to evaluations and meetings
• Foster a positive and engaging therapeutic environment
