We're searching for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide essential services during both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the regular New School Year (NSY) schedules. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New York Occupational Therapy license (OTR)
- Proven experience in school-based, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy OT settings
- Strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset
- Capability to supervise and mentor other Occupational Therapists
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, student-centered care
- Availability for ESY schedule (8–11am, 15 hours/week) and full NSY hours (37.5-40 hours/week)
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT services in accordance with student IEPs, school policies, and clinical best practices
- Lead and supervise fellow OTs, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Document progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Support both on-site and virtual service delivery as needed
