Empower students to reach their full potential this summer by providing occupational therapy services in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for licensed Occupational Therapists who thrive working with school-age children and are committed to making a positive difference during the Extended School Year (ESY) session.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience delivering therapy services in school settings (elementary preferred)
  • Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education procedures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel within the area

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students following their IEP goals
  • Assess, plan, and implement interventions to promote students’ participation and independence in school activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress
  • Effectively manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing needs
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies

Position Details:

  • Extended School Year (ESY): June 8 – July 2
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM – 12:45 PM (22.5 hours per week)
  • Multiple sites within the Concord, CA area
