Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist or an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This contract position begins as soon as possible and is located near Vallejo, CA, allowing you to develop your expertise in a rewarding, in-person school-based setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid California license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Dedication to supporting student growth and independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support the integration of therapy goals into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
- Help foster a supportive, inclusive environment where students can reach their fullest potential
