Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students on caseload, both individually and in groups
- Assess and document students’ functional abilities and therapy needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor customized intervention plans that support academic participation
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and guidance on goals and progress
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students’ motor, sensory, and self-care needs within classroom environments
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all reporting requirements
