Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous pediatric and/or school-based OT experience highly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Commitment to evidence-based interventions and student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and sensory needs within the school environment
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans as part of the IEP team
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
  • Maintain accurate records and thorough progress reports for compliance
  • Participate in team meetings, conferences, and parent consultations
  • Recommend and facilitate adaptive equipment and modifications as needed
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere conducive to student development
