Occupational Therapist School Setting in Varnville, SC

An opportunity is available for two Occupational Therapists to support students from PreK through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in Varnville, SC, with an immediate start and continuing through the end of the school year. The role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, working directly with students to enhance their functional skills and support their educational goals.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
• Skilled in delivering therapy services to children in PreK through 12th grade
• Ability to provide teletherapy and in-person interventions as appropriate
• Knowledge of healthcare and home health principles as they relate to school-based OT
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and healthcare providers

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational objectives
• Provide direct OT services to students in the school environment and via teletherapy platforms
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)

Location: Varnville, South Carolina
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start through end of school year (ASAP to EOSY)
