Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working in a school-based (K-12) setting, particularly with middle school students, is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff
  • Dedication to delivering evidence-based interventions for students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and individualized therapy for middle school students, adapting techniques to address each student’s unique abilities and learning goals
  • Collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and other related service professionals to design and implement effective IEPs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services rendered in accordance with school and federal guidelines
  • Offer guidance to staff and families on adaptive strategies and tools to enhance student participation in school activities
  • Proactively participate in meetings and contribute to positive team dynamics within the school environment
