Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active OT license
  • Previous experience in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy
  • Strong ability to work effectively with children in both individual and small group settings
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to a flexible, as-needed schedule
  • Dedication to supporting student progress and collaborating with educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to students in accordance with their IEP or consultation needs
  • Facilitate small group sessions meeting with students up to 15 or 20 times per year for 30-minute sessions
  • Conduct individual consult sessions once a month, and additional 30-minute individual meetings 15 times per year
  • Offer brief consultative sessions (10 minutes, five times a year)
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions and student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure a holistic approach to student care
