Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially working with students on the autism spectrum
• Strong understanding of best practices for school-based occupational therapy assessment and intervention
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, supporting a range of functional needs associated with autism
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate sensory, motor, and adaptive strategies into classroom routines
• Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Educate families and staff on ways to support student growth and independence beyond the classroom
