As a part of this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
  • Adaptability and passion for serving diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving performance in school activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff on strategies that enhance students’ participation in the classroom
  • Lead group and one-on-one sessions that foster independence and functional skills
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring, in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student accommodations
