From September 8 to June 18, you’ll work two days per week in a school-based setting, primarily serving PreK with some K-12 involvement. Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist—or showcase your skills as a seasoned COTA ready for a fresh challenge. Your experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and working alongside students on the autism spectrum will be highly valued in this setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • School-based experience, with a strong preference for PreK populations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AAC devices
  • Background in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Strong communication skills for collaborative teamwork with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging OT interventions for students, primarily PreK, with occasional K-12 cases
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team
  • Support student participation in classroom and school routines
  • Document services and progress per school guidelines
  • Provide consultative support to staff and family members
  • Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment for every student
