Step into a rewarding contract role as an Occupational Therapist or COTA, working full-time with students in a supportive school setting. This 6-8 week assignment, beginning in January, offers you the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of K-12 learners. You’ll work on a single campus, serving approximately 50 students, providing your expertise within a close-knit educational environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Capable of adapting to a diverse range of student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Current state licensure (or ability to obtain) required
  • Commitment to professional integrity, compassion, and flexibility

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing students’ needs and creating targeted therapy interventions
  • Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services
  • Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and families to support student development
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Communicating goals and strategies to educational staff and parents
  • Supporting students’ participation and performance in school activities
  • Advocating for accessibility and inclusivity within the school environment
