Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (.4 FTE) to provide specialized services in a school setting located in Warren, MI. This contract position involves itinerant work across two campuses, offering a unique opportunity to impact diverse student populations by supporting their developmental, sensory, and motor needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students across two campuses on an itinerant basis.
  • Assess student needs and develop tailored intervention plans to enhance functional participation in educational activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and incorporate therapeutic strategies within the classroom environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license with experience in school-based therapy.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an itinerant role across multiple school sites.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric development and school-based occupational therapy practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration with educators and families.
  • Flexibility and organization to manage schedule and travel between campuses efficiently.
