A full-semester contract opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Warren, MI. This role involves providing specialized OT services on an itinerant basis, covering two school campuses to address the diverse needs of students requiring therapeutic intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy services aligned with individual student goals and educational plans.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to create effective intervention strategies.
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to tailor therapy techniques and document outcomes.
- Travel between two campuses to ensure consistent service provision across multiple locations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive educational programs.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings, preferably across K-12 populations.
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies for academic environments.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining detailed records.
- Effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
