Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans
  • Passion for working with elementary-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine individual student needs
  • Create and implement therapy plans that promote students’ academic, social, and functional independence
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support inclusive learning environments
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services, adapting strategies for a diverse population
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
