Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a current and active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Michigan
  • Achieved a passing score on the NBCOT OTR exam
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is a plus, though motivated new graduates will also be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the individual needs of elementary students at a single campus
  • Conduct evaluations to assess areas impacting student participation and learning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation for each student’s progress and attend relevant meetings as needed
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote optimal student success
