Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Must hold current Occupational Therapist (OTR) licensure valid in Michigan.
- Experience working within school settings, providing OT services to students.
- Proficiency in evaluation, goal-setting, and treatment planning tailored to school-aged children.
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Commitment to maintaining documentation and progress reports according to district requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students across assigned caseloads in-person.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student participation and access to curriculum.
- Perform assessments, write reports, and contribute to eligibility, IEP, and 504 processes.
- Develop intervention plans designed to improve fine motor, sensory regulation, self-help, and functional academic skills.
- Provide support and strategies to classroom teams, adapting materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of interventions and student progress.
