You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 25 students, providing essential support throughout the district, with most of your time spent at a friendly, collaborative elementary school. Your expertise will help students access their education to the fullest, building strong foundations that last a lifetime.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not a must—enthusiasm for helping students grow is what really matters!
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized interventions to support their school participation and independence
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to integrate OT strategies effectively throughout the school day
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to foster continued achievement
- Document services, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Travel between sites within the district as needed, with primary assignment in an elementary school setting
