The position is based in a dynamic educational environment serving K-12 learners. You will work 35.5 hours each week, collaborating with educators and staff to support students' growth and success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 age groups
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and goal-setting
- Support students in achieving greater independence in academic, social, and daily living skills
