Occupational Therapist School Setting in Warren, MI

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license
• Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
• Ability to work effectively with K-12 age groups
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of IEP process and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and goal-setting
• Support students in achieving greater independence in academic, social, and daily living skills
