Occupational Therapist School Setting in Warren, MI

Make an impact in the lives of students as a full-time Occupational Therapist working with learners from kindergarten through age 26. This onsite, contract role runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering the chance to support a diverse school-aged population. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment focused on helping each student reach their highest potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Occupational Therapy license (submission of a license screenshot required)
• Previous experience working in school settings with students of varied ages and abilities
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education processes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work exclusively onsite (no remote or COTA supervision responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans to address students’ educational and developmental needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing input on progress and adapting goals as needed
• Track outcomes and maintain comprehensive records that support student growth and compliance
• Create an engaging, supportive environment that fosters independence and participation
