School Occupational Therapist - Washington, Utah

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working in schools or with school-aged children strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of school-based OT best practices and IEP processes
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs to develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services following IEP goals and school policies
• Maintain complete and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports for meetings
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and other service providers
• Offer recommendations and strategies to enhance participation and success in classroom settings
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and training sessions as required
