Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working in schools or with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of school-based OT best practices and IEP processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs to develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services following IEP goals and school policies
- Maintain complete and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports for meetings
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and other service providers
- Offer recommendations and strategies to enhance participation and success in classroom settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and training sessions as required
