As a 1.0 FTE role, your expertise in school-based occupational therapy will play a crucial part in fostering student development, independence, and participation in educational activities.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) for the state
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric conditions and evidence-based interventions
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills for managing a full-time caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Perform assessments, develop goals, and monitor student progress
  • Create and implement tailored intervention strategies for diverse needs
  • Consult and collaborate with educational staff and parents to ensure holistic support
  • Conduct periodic re-evaluations and document data to track outcomes
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging environment that promotes student growth
