This contract-based, part-time position (0.5 FTE) offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of students. You’ll contribute your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist, collaborating with staff and families to help foster student independence and engagement.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active OT license in Washington State
  • Previous experience working as a school Occupational Therapist preferred
  • Knowledge of educational frameworks, IEP processes, and therapy documentation
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within three local schools
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Support students with fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to maximize their participation in the classroom
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering your professional insights to guide student progress
