Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active state licensure in Occupational Therapy
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and experience contributing to 504/IEP meetings
  • Excellent communication skills for working with faculty, students, and families
  • Ability to organize caseload, prioritize tasks, and work independently
  • Strong collaborative attitude and commitment to fostering inclusive environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students with a wide range of abilities
  • Assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Support goal setting and intervention planning in coordination with teachers and parents
  • Document progress and adapt interventions to maximize student outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP planning
  • Provide staff and parent education regarding strategies to support students’ motor and sensory needs
  • Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication regarding student progress
