Key qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Strong adaptability and ability to travel between multiple campuses during the workweek
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educational staff, students, and families
  • Solid documentation and organizational abilities

Role responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT services to students across the district according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Complete assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate records for compliance and reporting
  • Travel between assigned school sites as part of your weekly caseload
