Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in Wisconsin (or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure)
- Previous experience in school-based OT preferred, especially with elementary students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students, developing effective, individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Collaborate with educators and parents to monitor progress, set goals, and adjust supports as necessary
- Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support inclusive education by providing recommendations for classroom strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards
