Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Current Occupational Therapy (OT) license for Maine, or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children and teens
  • Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy practices preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students as detailed in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and evaluate student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and consistent communication with school personnel
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of tailored interventions
