Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting
  • Deep knowledge of pediatric OT evaluation and intervention techniques
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and school teams
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services for preschool students to support their educational and functional needs
  • Collaborate with special education staff and families to create effective, individualized goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress reports, recommendations, and input on student needs
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to address fine/gross motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
