Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting
- Deep knowledge of pediatric OT evaluation and intervention techniques
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and school teams
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services for preschool students to support their educational and functional needs
- Collaborate with special education staff and families to create effective, individualized goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress reports, recommendations, and input on student needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions to address fine/gross motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
