Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license (OT)
- Experience providing OT services in educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of K-12 caseload management and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and developing individualized goals
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Adaptable to a variety of learning environments and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ abilities and develop targeted therapeutic interventions to address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skill areas
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals and modifications
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students ranging from kindergarten to high school
- Document progress, prepare required reports, and maintain thorough records on student performance
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate strategies in classroom routines
- Offer guidance and resources to families, empowering them to encourage student growth beyond school hours
