Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a variety of ages and needs
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in pediatric occupational therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine their functional abilities and therapy needs
- Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, across a diverse student population
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports
- Support staff with resources and training on sensory, motor, and adaptive strategies
