Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience supporting K-12 students in a school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a variety of ages and needs
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in pediatric occupational therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine their functional abilities and therapy needs
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, across a diverse student population
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports
  • Support staff with resources and training on sensory, motor, and adaptive strategies
