Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state OT license (or eligibility to obtain prior to the assignment start date)
  • Experience or familiarity with school-based occupational therapy services

  • Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans for students with diverse abilities
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in a school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs and design targeted therapy interventions to support academic and functional success
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to integrate strategies within the classroom and school environment
  • Document progress, maintain up-to-date records, and contribute to IEP meetings when appropriate
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, consultations, and in-services as needed
  • Empower students of all ages to build independence, self-confidence, and essential life skills
