Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Strong skills in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Expertise in assessing sensory, motor, and functional abilities
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to support diverse student populations across various grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students requiring OT services
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to identify student needs and set achievable goals
• Design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions within the school environment
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
• Maintain thorough documentation on progress, interventions, and outcomes
• Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations as needed
• Continually monitor student progress, adapting strategies for optimal outcomes
