Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current and valid California Occupational Therapy License
  • Previous experience in a school setting or pediatrics preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Ability to develop creative, individualized treatment plans
  • Dedication to fostering student independence and growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with diverse abilities
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in classroom and one-on-one settings
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ functional and academic goals
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise and written reports
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress
  • Educate school staff on strategies for occupational therapy integration
