What You’ll Need:

  • OT license and relevant certifications
  • Skills in school-based therapy, including occupational therapy within home health or healthcare settings
  • Experience supporting fine motor and gross motor development
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
  • Experience or comfort serving students with low-incidence disabilities, such as life skills or autism

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve a consistent caseload of 36–40 students across four low-incidence classrooms
  • Develop and implement individualized and group interventions
  • Address fine and gross motor needs, adapting techniques for each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, COTAs, and families to deliver coordinated care
  • Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and assist with home programming as needed
