This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with an enthusiastic educational team and directly empower students to achieve independence and success within the classroom environment.

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of students with varying needs.
• Assess students’ abilities, develop individualized intervention plans, and document progress.
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to collaborative goal-setting.
• Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to create strategies that promote functional participation and foster student growth.
• Promote adaptive skills, fine motor development, self-care, and sensory integration required for academic success.
• Provide consultative support and educational resources to the broader school community.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
