Make a meaningful impact by providing vital Occupational Therapy services to a diverse group of students aged 5 to 10 in an educational setting near Waukegan, IL. This full-time (35 hours per week), contract position begins in the 2026/2027 school year. You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with young learners, collaborating closely with educators and families to support students’ functional, behavioral, and academic development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license (Illinois)
  • Experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health OT settings preferred
  • Strong ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for children
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Compassionate, flexible, and eager to make a positive difference

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and strengths
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions to enhance students’ participation in daily activities and school routines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and support for each child’s goals
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of progress, in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Engage in team meetings, provide input on IEPs, and contribute expertise for optimizing student outcomes
  • Advocate for the unique needs of students within the classroom and school community
