This full-time (35 hours per week), contract position begins in the 2026/2027 school year. You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with young learners, collaborating closely with educators and families to support students’ functional, behavioral, and academic development.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license (Illinois)
- Experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health OT settings preferred
- Strong ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for children
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions to enhance students’ participation in daily activities and school routines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and support for each child’s goals
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of progress, in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Engage in team meetings, provide input on IEPs, and contribute expertise for optimizing student outcomes
- Advocate for the unique needs of students within the classroom and school community
