Occupational Therapist School Setting in Waukesha, WI

This contract-based opportunity is ideal for an experienced occupational therapist ready to use their skills in a collaborative educational setting, offering both onsite and teletherapy support.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state OT license
• Prior experience with school-aged children
• Proficiency in delivering services via teletherapy platforms as well as in-person
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals, both on campus and virtually
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs in academic, social, and functional areas
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop and monitor progress on IEP goals
• Document services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district and regulatory standards
• Provide consultations and training to teachers and school staff on strategies for student support
• Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team
• Maintain compliance with confidentiality and ethical guidelines
