This contract opportunity runs through June 30th and offers immediate, in-person engagement in a supportive educational setting. You’ll work closely with a caseload of 32 children, providing direct services to 24 students, and collaborating with school faculty to empower young learners to reach their full potential.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience supporting students in school settings strongly preferred
- Background in pediatrics, especially with early childhood and elementary populations
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Skilled in adapting interventions for a variety of learning and developmental needs
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfort with assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with school and federal standards
- Experience in home health or broader healthcare OT is a plus
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on occupational therapy to students in-person, focusing on both individual and group interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Accurately maintain records to track students’ progress and guide instructional planning
- Work alongside teachers, aides, and families to foster student development and classroom participation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal setting
- Adapt strategies for a diverse caseload—ensuring all 32 students receive thoughtful, evidence-based support
