Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload of students with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and ancillary staff
- Experience attending or contributing to ARD meetings is a plus
- Commitment to fostering growth, independence, and engagement in students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 54 students and provide consultative support for an additional 14 students
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in alignment with each student’s goals
- Prepare comprehensive IEP documentation and maintain accurate records
- Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, & Dismissal) meetings, sharing input and recommendations for student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize results and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive therapy space for every student
