Take the next step in your occupational therapy career by working with students across K-12 settings in a vibrant school community near Weatherford, TX. This full-time contract opportunity (37.5 hours per week) runs from ASAP through June 30, 2027. As an onsite, itinerant professional, you'll enjoy variety in your daily routine while supporting the growth and success of students at multiple campuses. Workdays are Monday through Friday, roughly 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Texas
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and ARD meetings
  • Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Reliable transportation to travel between school sites as needed
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, therapists, and families

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality OT services, assessments, and consults to K-12 students
  • Serve as the primary OT contact for several campuses, traveling onsite as needed
  • Develop, write, and maintain IEP documentation and progress notes
  • Participate actively in ARD meetings and collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Plan and implement interventions that support students’ educational goals
  • Provide ongoing support and training to school staff regarding OT strategies and adaptations
