Begin your next professional adventure supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a welcoming community close to Wellington, NV. This is a full-time opportunity where you'll collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance the learning experiences of elementary and secondary students. You’ll have the chance to utilize your skills in various settings, including in-person, home health, and remote teletherapy, making a real difference from the first day of school on August 20 through the end of the academic year on June 4.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state
- Experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT environments
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 55-60 students
- Prior work with both elementary and secondary age groups
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to differing school schedules and needs
Your Impact:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services across a diverse K-12 caseload
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans that foster student independence and success
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support student growth
- Adapt and innovate treatment to best suit in-person, home, or teletherapy modalities
- Monitor progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
School hours are thoughtfully scheduled to allow for work-life balance, with most elementary hours from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, and secondary from 7:30 am to 2:15 pm. Openings are available for both elementary and secondary school sites, giving you the choice to match your expertise to your preferred student population.
