Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, goal writing, and progress monitoring for school-based therapy
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt and manage a caseload within a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services and implement individualized interventions for students K-12
- Assess students’ needs and develop appropriate, measurable treatment goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Deliver training and resources to staff and families as needed
