Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. Work onsite full time (40 hours per week) during the 2026–2027 school year in a vibrant PreK–8 environment. You’ll collaborate with educators to help students achieve their fullest potential, tailoring services to meet individual needs.
Key requirements for this role:
- Hold a valid Arizona Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Possess a current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Bring experience or demonstrated interest in working with PreK–8th grade students
- Comfortable working onsite exclusively (remote options are not available)
- Ready to maintain compliance with school policies and collaborate within an educational team
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering OT services to a varied and dynamic caseload (exact numbers assigned upon placement)
- Evaluating students' motor skills and developing customized intervention plans
- Documenting progress, maintaining thorough and timely records for each student
- Partnering with teachers, school staff, and families to support student growth and participation in classroom activities
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
