Occupational Therapist School Setting in West Chester, PA

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current license or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania
• Experience in school-based, home health, healthcare, and/or teletherapy occupational therapy
• Comfort working with middle school-aged students in small group settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Ability to develop and implement interventions specific to students’ educational and developmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to middle school students in small groups of 5-6 per grade level
• Assess students’ needs, create individualized goals, and adapt sessions as necessary
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistent support for student progress
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain accurate student records in accordance with school protocols
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered plans
